The best solution we provided was applying SilverGlo wall insulation to keep the crawlspace warm by reflecting heat back into the area and encapsulated the floor with CleanSpace vapor barrier to keep out moisture! Safe to say that this homeowner won't have to worry about moisture for a while! 

A customer from Norwell, MA wanted to add insulation into his basement, but didn't want the type get gets moldy and falls apart quick. So once our inspector visited him to discuss a solution, they ended up finalizing on a SilverGlo wall insulation and CleanSpace vapor barrier job. On installation day, our crew removed the debris that was in the space and then sprayed our Mold-X2 spray to clean and prevent mold going forward. They laid down drainage matting over the dirt floor to allow any water to flow under and out instead of pooling inside. Then they re-insulated the space with our SilverGlo wall insulation to regulate temperature and this insulation does not deteriorate over time like fiberglass. The crew then fully encapsulated the crawl space with our CleanSpace vapor barrier and installed our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to keep humidity low year-round. Now the homeowner can have nothing but peace of mind when it comes to their home's crawl space!

This crawlspace in Scituate, MA was very wet! The fiberglass insulation was soaked through and through, it looked like melted cotton candy on the crawlspace floor.
