This crawlspace in Falmouth, MA had air seeping in through cracks during the winter and the home was hard to cool in the summer. We sprayed the joists and sealed around our SilverGlo insulation to stop air from flowing, saving our customer money in the long run!

This crawlspace in West Falmouth, MA was giving the homeowners too many problems, they needed to take action!  We worked with the owners and created a plan that would clean and encapsulate the space as well as eradicate the humidity, exactly what they were looking for. After the area was cleaned out, we installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier that would cover the surface of the crawlspace and create a barrier, protecting the inside from the outside elements such as moisture and pests. Along with that, insulation and a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier were added to keep the space dry and protected, making for very happy homeowners!

On installation day, our production foreman, Julius, and his crew first removed al the debris and cleaned up the crawl space, then they fully encapsulated it with our CleanSpace vapor barrier. A realtor in Buzzards Bay, MA reached out to us about this home because it was in need of some crawl space repair before going on the market. Once our crew removed the old insulation and debris that was in the space, they were able to lay down drainage matting over the dirt floor to allow any water to flow under and out instead of pooling inside. They insulated the walls of the space with our SilverGlo wall insulation which regulates temperature much more efficiently than fiberglass insulation and it won't deteriorate over time. Then the crew fully encapsulated the crawl space with our CleanSpace vapor barrier. Lastly, they set up our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to keep humidity in the space low.
