A customer wanted an egress window and well installed in order to prevent water intrusion and turn her basement into a liveable space. So our team installed them both. Due to poor insulation around the window, windows usually offer minimal protection against outside air entering the home. Egress windows will help ventilate your indoor areas and prevent unwanted allergens from entering your house. Also, Egress Windows provide a safe exit in case of emergency so they are required in finished basement living areas. In addition, these windows provide lots of natural light.

Our customer had a cold, damp, and moldy crawl space that was making his house just as cold. After installing the CleanSpace vapor barrier system, we installed SilverGlo insulation panels, which not only insulate the crawl space, but are mold and moisture resistant.

A customer in Stevensville, Michigan called about installing an egress window. The previous window was getting old, worn out and need of an upgrade. Our Egress windows provide a cleaner looking window, while also making the home more energy-efficient. This solution will last for years to come.

The homeowners had water coming into their basement through the floor. Water getting into your basement is always a problem, but in this particular case the homeowners had a finished basement and the water was causing damage to it. Something needed to be done! 

Our professional team installed the WaterGuard long lasting interior perimeter drainage system to stop the water from causing anymore damage. The system sits on the top of the footing along the perimeter of the basement in order to prevent clogging from mud or other debris.

The system works by trapping floor and wall seepage in its drain before it has a chance to damage the area. Once the water is in the drain it is immediately taken to the sump pump. The sump pump then removes the water from the basement leaving the area clean and dry! 

The before picture shows the basement floor that was being damaged because of the water and the after picture shows the system before it is neatly covered to look like new! 

Steve noticed a crack in his basement wall that went from the top all the way to the bottom. That crack has had some water leak through in the past which he wanted to stop. There were also cracks around his egress window that he wanted patched. He was planning on getting his basement finished so he needed to know that water would not seep in and that the cracks would not get worse. We used FlexiSpan to seal the cracks and keep water from entering the basement. It moves with the wall to provide a permanent solution, installs quickly, and can easily be covered by basement wall finishings.
