Donna was looking for a trusty system to ensure her basement remained dry after dealing with some water leaks. She called up Ayers professionals for inspection. Our crew decided to go ahead and install our TripleSafe Sump Pump and our WaterGuard.

The TripleSafe ensures the protection of your basement from water leakage with its three sump pumps with battery powered backups to allow for smooth operation, even in cases of power outages. Next, the WaterGuard is a drainage system that catches any water leaks at higher levels. It is also installed around the perimeter of your basement with concrete poured over top, along with regular flooring if desired. 

Donna is now worry-free about these pesky water leaks with these waterproofing systems in place in her basement!

Robin was alarmed by the amount of water leaking into her basement. She wasn't sure why this was happening and called Ayers for help. Our team inspected the house and decided to install the CleanSpace vapor barrier. CleanSpace is an antimicrobial lined material that attaches to the walls and floors. This forms an uninterrupted defense against pests, moisture, and mold growth. CleanSpace is also more durable and efficient than a store-bought tarp, allowing for lower energy costs. Robin won't have to worry about having a dry basement anymore!

Karl noticed his old sump pump had failed, and water leaked into his basement. This wasn't a good sign, so he researched his options online and called Ayers to learn about our waterproofing solutions. We sent a crew of experts to his house to assess the situation, and they suggested installing the TripleSafe sump pump. We received a call from this Buchanan, MI homeowner who had grown tired of the moldy, musty smell in his cottage crawl space. The cottage was located next to the lake so, naturally, the first assumption was to blame humidity. After examining the crawl space, it was clear to the system design specialist that the insulation of the crawl space had taken in moisture and was definitely the cause of the unpleasant smell. To protect the crawl space from humidity and it’s moldy plus one, the crew installed a full encapsulation system.  The first step was laying down a drainage matting to keep standing water from puddling up on the crawl space floor. With the matting in place, the crew began the encapsulation and covered the rest of the crawl space with the vapor barrier CleanSpace. CleanSpace is a mold resistant liner designed to keep moisture from permeating into a crawl space. The white plastic - seen in the after photo - is ultra-durable and will even help keep the crawl space better insulated during the winter months when this cabin sees less use. This cottage can now say goodbye to wet and musty and hello to fresh and clean.

This basement wall had a crack that extended much of the length of the poured concrete. The crack had been leaking for some time and had been treated with a product to try to stop the water but the water just kept coming. That's when we got involved using a waterproofing solution called FlexiSpan. At the base of the wall where the crack is present, a small drywell is dug out, a few gallons in volume. Drainage stone is added to the well. Then we add a small wall flange along the base of the wall and cement over the well. On the wall, CleanSpace fabric covers the crack creating a barrier with directs any incoming water down the wall and into the drywell below the concrete floor so that the moisture can leech back into the soil without ever been seen or puddling on the floor. Even small wall leaks can be big problems. With FlexiSpan, they don't have to be.
