A home in Battle Creek, MI, had a damp, humid, and musty-smelling crawl space. The goal was to encapsulate the area, which involved sealing off potential sources of moisture and improving the overall condition of the crawl space. With Ayers' CleanSpace product, we were able to accomplish this.

Mark had some serious water damage in his home due to heavy water intrusion, especially during hard rain so he called Ayers. After inspecting his basement we recommended installing our WaterGuard System and TripleSafe Sump Pump System. With WaterGuard, this sub-floor drainage system collects water that comes in through the walls as it is placed along the basements' perimeter. TripleSafe is a three pump system that fits in one durable liner, working together to keep water out. The first pump gets most of the water out and the last two are there for backup. The last pump is even battery-operated meant for power outages. Mark was very relieved and happy to get this problem area fixed up!

Brendan's basement window was very small and unattractive. Brendan was looking into getting an Egress Window to replace it, so he called up Ayers. Egress Windows come with a large exterior well and safe exit passage for emergency situations. This is legally required for many buildings and homes. These windows are much larger which opens up the space with more natural light and fresh air able to come in. The basement is now more welcoming for guests and has less of that dark, dungeon feel. Not to mention the home was built in 1935, so renovating these windows was a great move that will only add value to Brendan's home in the future!

This family needed their basement finished and to better insulate their home. They went with our Basement to Beautiful Panels that are shown in the after picture. These panels are not a finished wall but we offer many different options to finish them. The Basement to Beautiful panels are made of foam with graphite infused throughout them. This drives up the insulation value compared to regular foam insulation by 24%. The panels also eliminate the conventional wood stud framing commonly found in basements. Wood in a basement can rot and grow mold, and this family told us they had found mold. The panels are sure to make your basement warm and help make the rooms above the basement warmer too. 

A lot of water was entering Terri’s basement so he called our team. Our team installed TripleSafe, a sump pump system, in addition to installing other systems. TripleSafe has three pumps so that it can handle the highest pumping demands. Also, one of the pumps is battery powered so it can continue to pump water even during power outages. Terri will no longer have to worry about his basement flooding even if his electricity goes out.
