Our customer's sump pump system was not the best system to prevent water from findings its way into the basement in the event of a heavy rain.  The problem with water had happened about 5-6 times in 3 years since living there.  The homeowners knew it was inevitable that this would happen again and needed better equipment.  Along with updating their sump pump system we also completed a full interior waterproofing solution.  WaterGuard Drainage System was installed along with the SuperSump Pump System to protect our customers basement.

In order to confidently sell her home, she worked with System Design Specialist to design a waterproofing system that kept the basement space dry and safe regardless of weather. When our Design Specialist Ryan went to visit with this homeowner about her water issues in the basement, she decided she also wanted to add an egress as she was going to refinish the basement once it was dry. Adding an egress will allow much more light in than a regular basement window. And since she plans to use this space as additional living space in her home, this egress is designed for someone to be able to escape the basement in case of an emergency such as a fire. Not to mention, it's more aesthetically pleasing.
