Ian went to Craig's home, carefully inspected his foundation, and proposed the solution of our wall repair system, also known as PowerBraces. A customer from Moorhead, MN, got in contact with us when they noticed their basement wall was beginning to lean inward. They knew if they left the issue, they would run the risk of the wall failing completely, which would be hazardous to the structural integrity of the home and would cost more to fix at that stage. When they called in, they used their FREE estimate, and our Design Specialist, Kole, headed out to their property to do a thorough inspection of the issue. When he concluded, he found that the wall was leaning 2' inward, meaning corrective action was needed. Kole was able to recommend the homeowner a solution, our PowerBrace wall repair system. Kole explained that our PowerBrace is a steel I-beam designed to stabilize failing basement walls and provide the potential to straighten walls over time. This system can be tightened to make bowing or tilting walls straighter and more vertical over time, meaning the system will last for a long time to come. The customer agreed with Kole's recommendations and work began shortly after. Our Foreman, Zach, and his crew ended up strategically installing 7 of our PowerBraces along the Southside of the basement. 

When the job was complete, the customer was happy with our work and relieved to know that her wall would be straight for a long time to come!

A homeowner in Northwood, ND, was concerned once they noticed their basement ceiling was sagging. Concerned this could been damaging, the homeowner knew they needed to find a permanent solution. Unsure who to work with, the homeowner asked their friends and family for any recommendations. One of their friends recommended working with us, American Waterworks. James arrived at the home and began the detailed inspection of the basement. While investigating, James discovered the floors needed to be permanently stabilized with SmartJacks. Once the plans were approved by the homeowner, it was sent to our office to be approved. After receiving the final stamp of approval, the proposal was sent to our Foreman, Roel, and his crew. Roel and his crew traveled to the home to begin the installation. First, the crew ensured the home was ready for the SmartJack installation. The crew installed two SmartJacks along the struggling wall. Once the SmartJacks were installed, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. John, from Morgan, MN, gave us a call when he began to have concerns about bowing wood on his basement ceiling affecting other areas of his home.
