In less than a week, our Design Specialist, Dylan J., arrived at the home to provide a thorough inspection. In about a month, one of our crews arrived at the home for the installation. The crew began by digging a hole several feet away from the foundation. Then, earth anchors are placed and connected to the interior wall plate using a small steel pole. Once these are connected and tightened, the crew cleaned up their equipment and left the home. A homeowner in Devils Lake, ND, was concerned that the cracks in their garage foundation were spreading. The crew attached seven GeoLock Wall Anchors to the garage foundation, three on the west wall and four on the north wall. Our Foreman, Jose Castillo, and his production team removed the concrete around the perimeter of the basement floor. They installed 22 PowerBraces and secured them to the walls before laying the WaterGuard drainage system. Once the WaterGuard was laid, they installed our SuperSump and CleanSpace wall vapor barrier, filled back the gaps in the concrete with rock, and replaced the concrete. The installation took a couple of days to complete, but Derek is now confident in the stability of his home, and he has peace of mind that his basement will remain dry.
