Once the estimate was set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of our Design Specialist, James. A few days later, James promptly arrived at the home and began his thorough inspection of the basement. During the inspection, James confirmed that several areas suffered from water intrusion. To prevent the issue from worsening, James recommended fully waterproofing the basement. Knowing this was their best plan of action, the homeowner decided to go with James' proposal. Next, James passed the proposal to our Logistics team to build and schedule the project. The project was scheduled for a few weeks later, and it was assigned to our Foreman, Kingsley, and his crew. Once the project date arrived, Kingsley and his crew traveled to the home to begin the installation. First, Kingsley and his crew installed WaterGuard around the basement perimeter. Once the WaterGuard was secured, the crew shifted their focus to taking out the old sump pump and replacing it with the TripleSafe Sump Pump, one of our elite sump pump systems. After the TripleSafe was secured, the crew attached CleanSpace to the unfinished basement walls. After all the products were secured, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. Lonnie, from Des Lacs, ND was beginning to notice that his basement was taking on an unusual amount of water. We set him up with our FREE estimate and a few weeks later our Design Specialist, Richie, headed out to the property to complete his inspection. Once he finished his walkthrough, he made recommendations as to how we could help Lonnie. Richie recommended two of our products. First, he wanted to use our Foamax insulated panels. He explained to Lonnie that our Foamax makes your basement warmer and brighter. The panels create a barrier between the moist air in your basement and the cold surface of the walls, preventing condensation and providing a more comfortable basement. Second, Richie wanted to use our WaterGuard below-floor French drain system. Richie went on to say that this drain gets installed below the floor of the basement, atop of the footing of the foundation, but out of the mud zone where other drains tend to clog.  He finished by saying that this drain will work to collect unwanted water running down the wall and dispose of it in the proper place. Lonnie agreed with the recommendations and work began shortly after. 

Our Foreman and his team worked to install all the necessary products. In the end, they installed 192 ft of WaterGuard and another 192 ft of Foamax throughout the basement. Once the job was done, Lonnie was pleased to know he no longer had to worry about a damp basement!

In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard Drainage System, which is made to prevent water or mud clogs, collect water seepage from basement walls, and serve as a drain that connects to the sump pump. Next, our team installed and tightened our PowerBraces against the foundation walls, which are made to straighten bowing walls over time. To complete the project, our Foreman and his crew covered the open gaps with rock and applied new concrete over it. The homeowner was happy with the repairs and was thrilled with the transformation!

Our Foreman and his production crew began the project by breaking out the concrete floor, forming a hole, in connection to their interior drainage system. In the hole, our team installed our SuperSump Plus M53 followed by the discharge line. The SuperSump is one of our sump pumps that is designed with two pumps and keeps basements neat and clean, especially during harsh weather conditions. To complete the project, our team filled the open gaps with river rock and applied new concrete over them. The space looked cleaner than when they found it, and the homeowner was satisfied with the completion of work!

Once the supplemental beam was installed, the crew shifted their focus to installing 10 SmartJacks along the supplemental beam. As soon as all the SmartJacks were installed, Roel and his crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was relieved to know their basement was properly supported.
