A homeowner in Hutchinson, MN, grew concerned about the large growing crack along their west wall. Knowing it was time to have a professional investigate the status of the wall, the homeowner began looking through their options. The homeowners were scrolling through Facebook when they came across one of our digital advertisements. Interested, the homeowner clicked on the advertisement and was redirected to our website. The homeowner saw our list of services and was impressed by our quality of service. After seeing we offer FREE estimates, the homeowner decided to sign up for theirs. Once their estimate was set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of Eric, one of our Design Specialists. Upon Eric's arrival, he inspected the status of their basement. Eric discovered that the wall showed early signs of failure due to hydrostatic pressure. To stop the failure, Eric suggested that the wall be permanently stabilized. The homeowner agreed and the plans were directed to the assigned crew. Our Foreman, Kiko, and his crew arrived at the home and began unloading their materials to begin the stabilization. The crew installed eight GeoLock anchors, our innovative wall anchor system, to the interior west wall. Along with the GeoLocks, the crew included a tightening kit. This kit will allow the walls to be straightened over time. Once all the products were installed, the crew cleaned up their site and left the home. A homeowner in Cavalier, ND, noticed the crack throughout the wall was spreading. Knowing it was time for repairs, the homeowner began looking into professional foundation repair companies near them. Then, the homeowner showed Kole the problem area of the foundation. Kole inspected the inside and outside foundation. Once he completed the inspection, Kole determined that the foundation was settling and required permanent stabilization. Kole suggested installing our wall anchoring system to stabilize the foundation. The homeowner agreed with this suggestion and the plans were sent to the office to be finalized. Once the office approved, the plans were sent to our Foreman, Aaron, and his crew. Aaron and his crew traveled to the home and began the installation. First, the crew installed 9 GeoLock Wall Anchors along the north and east walls. Once the GeoLocks were secured, the crew installed four PowerBraces on the south basement walls. Additionally, the crew left a tightening kit, so the homeowner can tighten the walls over time. Once the project was complete, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. Mike C. in North Mankato, MN had a cracked and bowing foundation wall in his basement. Our Foreman, Juan Pena, and his crew installed 7 PowerBraces along the bowing wall. The PowerBraces are designed to stabilize failing basement walls and provide the potential for the wall to straighten over time. The beams are covered with a zinc-coating to protect it from rusting or deteriorating. The process was less invasive than Mike thought it would be. Mike is glad he chose the right solution through American Waterworks to protect his foundation for the long-term.

In North Mankato, MN, a homeowner was growing worried about his concrete walkway leading to his home. The concrete walkway had begun to sink over the years, pulling away from the front stoop. The homeowner was concerned that if he did not address the issue, the walkway would continue to sink, creating a larger trip hazard. The homeowner began to ask friends and family who they would recommend to fix the concrete sink, and quickly found American Waterworks. Impressed with our concrete repair before and after image sets, he decided to claim his FREE estimate, and several weeks later, our Design Specialist, Justin M, headed out to the home. 

When Justin got to the home, he began his inspection, measuring the amount the concrete had sunk and other areas of the home that could also be suffering from sinking slabs. When he was finished, he met with the homeowner to go over his recommendations. Justin informed the homeowner that we could remedy the issue with the help of our PolyLevel injection. Our poly level solution is an expanding polyurethane foam that is injected beneath sunken slabs. As the foam expands it slowly pushes the concrete upwards and back into place. Justin went on to say that he was also recommending our NexusPro; a silicone based sealant for joints and cracks specially formulated to provide long-lasting flexibility and to stand up against harsh weather conditions to protect the fresh lift. The homeowner needed some time to think over the solution, and to get a few other estimates. A few weeks passed, and the homeowner decided Justin's solution was more comprehensive, so he reached out to schedule his project. 

On the day of the installation our Foreman, Troy J, and his Co-Foreman completed the lift effortlessly, restoring the safety to our customers home. Now, our customer can enjoy the most his outdoor oasis has to offer!

Matt T. of Mankato, MN had bowing foundation walls, causing him to worry about the structural support of his house. He called American Waterworks and scheduled a FREE estimate with our Design Specialist, Ryan, who went to his house, examined his walls, and drew out the solution of our Wall Anchor Foundation Repair System. Matt was comfortable with Ryan's presentation, so he went ahead with the project. 

Our Foreman, Jose, and his production team began the project by digging small holes beyond the foundation, until they hit compact, undisturbed soil. While installing our anchor system, each anchor is connected by a steel rod to a wall plate that provides pressure against the inside of the foundation wall. Our wall anchors straighten the wall back into its original position by pulling it back to where it's supposed to be. Over time, homeowners can tighten their anchors to ensure the system is still sticking to its design. To complete the project, Jose and his team backfilled the holes, leaving the yard looking neater than when they found it.
