Next, Diego and his crew installed seven CarbonArmor strips on the south walls. Once all the products were secured, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. A customer from Rushmore, MN, contacted us when they suspected they might have a Radon gas present in their home. Our crew went out to the property and the Design Specialist, Kevin, recommended that the customer invests in a Radon mitigation system because of the high levels of Radon he found to be prevalent in the home. Our Foreman, Dakota, worked to install the system and will follow up with the customer if further issues present themselves. Our Radon mitigation systems work to suck the Radon out of the area, pipe it upwards, and expel the gas out and away from the home. 

Dan R. in Ivanhoe, MN had learned about the dangers of radon gas and decided that he needed to get his home tested. The test results showed a high level of radon. Our Design Specialist walked him through the radon mitigation installation process and answered his questions. Dan wanted to act quickly and moved forward with an installation date.

During the installation process, our Foreman, Dakota Merchlewitz, drilled a hole through the floor in the basement to insert a PVC pipe and create a suction point for the radon gas. Then the gas is vented through the pipe and out of the home. Dan is relieved that he took the necessary steps to make sure his family's health is no longer compromised.
