Once the estimate was set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of our Design Specialist, Ian. When the appointment date arrived, Ian traveled ot the home and began the thorough inspection. During the inspection, Ian confirmed that the basement needed to be fully repaired. To prevent this issue from worsening, Ian recommended installing several waterproofing and foundation repair products throughout the basement. Knowing this was the best plan of action, the homeowner decided to go ahead with Ian's recommendations. Next, the homeowner worked with Ian to find the best installation date. When the installation date arrived, our Foreman, Aaron, and his crew traveled to the home to begin the installation. First, the crew secured WaterGuard along the basement perimeter. Once the WaterGuard was secured, the crew shifted to taking out the old sump pump and replacing it with the TripleSafe. Next, the crew attached PowerBraces and CleanSpace to the foundation walls. A homeowner in Hendricks, MN, noticed a musty odor around their home. After some investigating, the homeowner discovered the odor was coming from their crawl space. Next, the plans were sent to our Field Supervisor, Rene, and his crew. First, Rene and his crew laid Drainage Matting on the basement floor. Next, the crew attached CleanSpace on the floors and walls. Once all the products were secured, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. Our Foreman, Cole Brinkman, and his team started the project by breaking out the concrete perimeter of the basement with a jackhammer, forming a trench. In the trench, our crew installed our WaterGuard System, which collects water seepage from basement walls and serves as an underground drain that leads to outside. Next, our team installed our Basement to Beautiful Wall Panels around the wall perimeter. These panels are made to provide a dry and energy-efficient basement, and it creates a warm, protective blanket that will never rot and or support mold growth. To complete the installation, our crew laid a rock in the open gaps and replaced the concrete, leaving the basement looking neater than when they found it. Then, they installed a full perimeter of our WaterGuard drainage system, and our SuperSump Plus pump. Water now drains through the WaterGuard into the sump pump. The team also implemented our LawnScape Outlet, which is a pipe buried from the downspout that lets water outside onto the surface of the lawn while camouflaging the end of the pipe. This helps get water away from the exterior of the home. Lastly, the crew finished the project by filling the gaps with rock, replacing the concrete, and cleaning up their work area.
