A homeowner in Fairbault, MN, was completing yard work when they noticed their front steps were separating from the walkway. Worried this could turn into a major issue, the homeowner knew they needed to find a professional to provide them with a proper solution. After comparing several companies, the homeowner decided to sign up for their FREE estimate with American Waterworks. Once the estimate was set, we sent one of our Design Specialists, Eric, to the home to take a closer look. Once Eric arrived, he began the thorough inspection of the exterior concrete. After he wrapped up the estimate, Eric concluded that the steps needed to be lifted and leveled. Knowing this was the best plan of action, the homeowner decided to go ahead with Eric's proposal. Next, the plans were sent to our Foreman, Sam, and his crew. A few weeks later, Sam and his crew traveled to the home to begin the project. After they arrived, Sam and his crew started by inserting PolyLevel below the sinking sidewalk. Next, the crew shifted to injecting NexusPro, a silicone-based solution, into the joints and cracks of the concrete. After all the products were secured, Sam and his crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was delighted with the excellent work completed by the crew. Our Foreman and his crew member began the project by injecting 51 pounds of our PolyLevel underneath the slab to fill the voids and stabilize the surface. Our PolyLevel is a special foam that cures quickly, is adjustable to all sizes, and is non-invasive, unlike mudjacking. Next, our team applied our NexusPro over the cracks in the concrete. The purpose of NexusPro is to prevent moisture from invading the soil and it gives the concrete a neat and clean appearance. Matt was happy with the work that was completed!

Next, they injected the foam into one hole at a time, closely monitoring the lifting process to ensure no overcorrections were made.
