A homeowner in New Brighton, MN, noticed that his walkway had begun sinking, causing a few cracks to form along the slabs. Concerned it would be a trip hazard for his family and that it would lower the resale value of his home, he decided to look into concrete lifting in the area. He saw one of our yard signs in the neighborhood and decided to contact us to schedule his FREE estimate.
In a couple of weeks, our Design Specialist, Kyle P., arrived at the home to assess the walkway. He then created a proposal and design where he recommended using PolyLevel to lift the concrete and NexusPro to seal the cracks and joints. As he showed his recommendation to the homeowner, he also explained that one of the reasons he was facing concrete damage was because of soil washout. When it rains or floods, water moves through the ground, beneath the concrete slabs, and washes away the supporting soil. This then causes gaps and empty spaces in the soil, causing the slab to sink. After the homeowner reviewed the proposal, he decided to move forward with the project.
In a couple of weeks, our Foreman, Sam K., and his crew arrived at the home for the installation. They lifted the concrete slabs along the walkway by drilling small holes into the slab and installing the injection ports. PolyLevel is then injected beneath the slab, and once it has been lifted, the crew ensures it is level before sealing the holes with concrete. Lastly, the crew uses NexusPro to seal the cracks and joints. Once they were done with the installation, they cleaned up their equipment and left the home.

A homeowner in New Brighton, MN, knew it was time to repair their cracked and sinking walkway. Disliking the look of their uneven, cracked concrete, the homeowner knew they needed to find an expert to provide them with a solution. The homeowner looked into "concrete lifting near me," and one of the first companies to catch their attention was us, American Waterworks. Once they saw our stellar ratings and reviews, the homeowner knew we were the ideal company for their project. Next, the homeowner signed up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was set, we sent one of our Design Specialists to the home to take a closer look. During his inspection, the Design Specialist confirmed the sidewalk was sinking due to settlement. To prevent the settlement from continuing, the Design Specialist recommended lifting the concrete back into place with our PolyLevel, a polyurethane foam injection solution. Knowing this was their best plan of action, the homeowner decided to go ahead with the proposal. Next, the Design Specialist passed the proposal on to our Logistics team for the final stamp of approval. After the plans were built and scheduled, the project was assigned to our Foreman, Jordan, and his crew. A few weeks later, Jordan and his crew traveled to the home to begin the installation. First, Jordan and his team lifted the sinking concrete with PolyLevel. After the sidewalk was lifted back into place, Jordan and his crew shifted to repairing the cracks and joints with NexusPro, a silicone-based solution. Once all the products were secured, the crew leaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was delighted with the eye-catching results. American Waterworks is happy to provide their homeowners peace of mind knowing their sidewalk was properly repaired.

A homeowner from Saint Paul, MN, was bringing home some groceries one day when she took a nasty tumble going up her front concrete stairs. When she turned to look to see where the hazard was, she was surprised to see that her front concrete walkway was slowly sinking and separating from his front concrete stairs. She had no idea how long the issue had been forming but knew she wanted to have it fixed. She began to look for a concrete repair company in Minnesota and eventually found our website. She signed up for her FREE estimate, and several weeks later, Kyle P, one of our Design Specialists, headed out to the home.
Kyle got right to work inspecting the concrete. When he finished, he informed the homeowner that he wanted to use our PolyLevel injection. PolyLevel is a dense polyurethane foam that expands when it's injected beneath sinking concrete slabs. It works to fill voids left by soil erosion and, in the process, lifts the concrete back to its desired height. Kyle went on to say that once the concrete had been lifted, he wanted to see the lift protected with our NexusPro. This silicone-based sealant gets applied to the cracks and joints in the newly lifted concrete and works to prevent unwanted moisture from getting below the slab. The homeowner liked the sound of protecting his investment and decided to schedule the job for several weeks later.
On the day of the project, our Foreman, Dylon V, and his team were able to complete the lift, level, and seal with no issues. Now our customer can confidently walk in her front door without worries of taking a spill!
