When the installation date arrived, our Foreman, Jason, and his crew traveled to the home to begin. First, Jason started by securing the Radon Mitigation System on the outside of the home. After the Radon Mitigation System was secured, Jason cleaned up his matierals and left the home. The homeowner was delighted with the excellent work completed by the crew. Our Foreman, Ryan Loe, and his production team began the project by breaking out the concrete perimeter of the basement floor, forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard System, which is made to prevent water clogs, collect water seepage from basement walls, and is designed as an underground drain. Next, our crew installed our CleanSpace Wall Vapor Barrier around the wall perimeter of the basement, which is made to prevent mold, mildew, and humidity and covers any divots or holes, while also giving the basement a neat and clean appearance. To complete the installation, Ryan and his team covered the open gaps with rock and replaced the concrete. Jody was happy with the work and was grateful we were able to help her and her home repair needs!

Dawn N. in Garvin, MN contacted American Waterworks after seeing one of our commercials on TV. She had water seeping into the basement, and she wanted to permanently fix the problem. We sent one of our Design Specialists, Reed Hudson, to evaluate the situation and propose a unique solution for her home. After Reed’s inspection, he was able to recommend a combination of our waterproofing products. Dawn approved of the plan and moved forward with the project.  

Our Foreman, Matt Zeller, and his production team began the waterproofing project by removing the concrete around the perimeter of the basement floor to create a trench. Then, they laid the WaterGuard in the trench and installed a SuperSump sump pump. They filled back the gaps with rock and then replaced the concrete around the sump pump and over the WaterGuard. Water now properly drains to the sump pump through the WaterGuard. The water is then expelled from the home through the discharge line. Dawn’s peace of mind has been restored, and she can now enjoy a dry, healthier basement for years to come!
