Located in Florence, MS, this crawlspace was holding moisture and had been for a while. It was starting to build up and create a terrible mildew smells throughout the house. It was also causing floors to cup and swell. Our crew was able to pull out all the falling, damp insulation, clean out the crawlspace, and install our encapsulation system. Our system will dry out the underside of the house, and keep moisture from coming back in. We installed a dehumidifier to regulate the air, and a sump pump in the ground to capture excess ground water and return it outside the home.

The muddy floor you see here is a sign of a crawlspace that is suffering from moisture and humidity issues. The homeowners found out a bit too late and decided to call us once their floors started buckling. The underside of the home is now kept dry using our Cleanspace Barrier and crawlspace dehumidifier. Moisture damage is no longer a worry for these homeowners.

Many different parts of our team at Midsouth came together to transform this crawl space! It started with DeRosia in our customer care team, who took this homeowner's call, listened to their struggles, and promptly set them up a date and time for us to come out and take a look. It was one of our knowledgable design specialists, Caleb, who was sent out and did a complete inspection of the underside of the home. After compiling all his findings, he created a detailed proposal on site and answered all the homeowner's questions. They loved his solution, and got back to our office to schedule a date for us to make it happen. When that day came around, our foreman, Ronnie, and his crew made their way out to Independence, LA and completed the installation of our encapsulation system. This included our CleanSpace Liner, TripleSafe Sump Pump System, a crawl space dehumidifier, and more to make sure their home was protected against all forms of moisture. Look at the difference! Here is one extremely impressive example of what one of our crews was able to do with our crawl space support systems. The floor that once had a complete sunken curve and walls pulling apart around it, is now as even as the rest of the home, with walls sitting tightly in place! Great job team!
