He reached out to our company to come take a look and see what could be done, and we sent one of our design specialists out to do exactly that. Underneath the home, he found plenty of moisture in a humid space that had been left unchecked and slowly causing damage all this time. The floors could be replaced, but if this wasn't taken care of, the same issues would come back around. When the pump fills to a certain level, it will push the water out of the pump, through the drainage system, and deposit it outside and away from the house. This keeps the basement dry. We also install a powerful dehumidifier to keep the room from feeling and smelling musty.
