Wanting a safer and better looking driveway, this homeowner in Brandon, MS reached out to us seeking help. Fortunately, things had not gotten bad enough yet for any settlement to occur. The longer these cracks are left exposed, the more opportunity there is for moisture to seep in and find its way under the slab. At that point, erosion can occur, creating voids and causing concrete slabs to sink, a case we've seen many times. To prevent this, we used our product, NexusPro. NexusPro is a high quality sealant that is resistant to UV and harsh weather. Our team expertly used this to seal each and every crack and joint found leading up this driveway. After a very quick cure time, things looked much better and this driveway was ready to be safely used again. As more moisture eroded more soil, the concrete began to crack, separate, and eventually sink. We come across many concrete slabs that have sunken due to the soil being washed out from underneath. This can occur when water has easy access under the concrete, allowing continuous erosion. These homeowners could no longer stand the annoying bump they felt every single time they pulled into their garage, it was time to do something about it.
