The saturated soils on the exterior of the foundation walls were pushing against the concrete and causing it to crack and bow into the basement. The project included rebuilding a section of wall, installing a waterproofing sump pump system, and reinforcing a section of foundation wall with PowerBrace wall anchors. 

This before and after features a view of the wall anchors installed in one section of the basement. The wall cracks are visible, and were caused by soils pushing against it with incredible force. With the PowerBrace supports in place, the concrete wall is permanently stabilized and will not bow in any further. The water is now also diverted to a sump pump system, which will help relieve the pressure in the soil.
