A homeowner in Waltham, MA, needed professional assistance before finishing their basement due to noticeable foundation wall cracks and a disturbing 1-inch of inward wall deflection. Notice in the first photo, these issues posed potential safety concerns and risked future structure instability. This homeowner in Raymond, New Hampshire was experiencing sagging in the middle of their home. The home is sitting on block supports. The homeowner would like to have the floors in their home be level again. The homeowner decided to call EFS for a free inspection. 

Design Specialist Michael LaMalfa inspected the home and the supports underneath. Michael recommended installing SmartJacks underneath the home. 

Crew Lead Ed Nadreau and his team installed 4 SmartJacks and a supplemental beam in the middle of the home to reduce the sag in the middle of the house.  

A homeowner in Raymond, New Hampshire, lived in a home built in 2004. They recently purchased the home in June 2022, and the previous owners mentioned that the septic tank wasn't buried deep enough into the ground at the front of the house. This caused the front foundation wall to experience high pressure resulting in an inward lean as well as a horizontal crack in the foundation wall. The homeowners decided to call EFS for a free foundation inspection. Our design specialist Jason recommended installing PowerBraces to the foundation wall and using Crack Injection to seal the horizontal crack. 

Our team installed 18 10' PowerBraces to the front and back foundation wall and 38' of Crack Injection into the cracks on the foundation wall. 

This homeowner in Lexington, Massachusetts recently purchased her childhood home. She is planning on doing manageable renovations to increase the value of the home. She had completed a couple of renovations already but now has started working on the garage. Water from the driveway has been entering the garage and has caused some damage. She decided to call EFS for a free inspection. 

Design Specialist Brian Swindell inspected the foundation and garage of the home. Brian discovered that there is some void below the slab in the garage that he recommend filling before attempting to lift the slab. To help stop the water from entering the garage Brian recommended installing Trench Drain at the mouth of the garage with a downspout. 

Crew Lead Nick Melo and his team lifted the mouth of the garage to level and then filled the void under the slab. After the PolyLevel was injected, the team installed the Trench Drain at the mouth of the garage.
