A homeowner in Arlington, Massachusetts, had concerns with the chimney and wall of their 100+-year-old home. The homeowners have lived in their home for 20+ years and over the past five years, they noticed chimney movement and water entering from their garage foundation wall. They decided to call EFS for a free inspection. Our design specialist recommended installing Helical Piers to add stability to the chimney. 

Our production team installed Helical Piers and a footing to the chimney to prevent it from settling any more. 

Tom A. of Arlington, Massachusetts has a fieldstone foundation that was crumbling, and wanted to know what options he had. Tom had called EFS to see if they could send out someone out to look at his home. Erickson Foundation Solutions sent out Design Specialist Michael Bradley to the home. Michael inspected the basement of the home and proposed a Poly Foam to coat the inside of the fieldstone foundation and then SmartJacks to add support to some of the older beams in the home. 

Crew Lead Spencer Ladd and his team came to the home and sprayed the foam and installed the new SmartJacks into the basement. After the project, Tom actually likes the look more with the white foam finish than the untouched fieldstone. 

This home in Arlington, Massachusetts, had experienced sagging in the floors of their front porch. They have seen the issue get worse and decided to call EFS for a free inspection. Our Design Specialist met with the homeowner and recommended replacing the supports and installing Helical Piers under the porch. Our Installation Team arrived at the home and installed 3 Helical Piers under the porch and stabilized the floors.

A homeowner in Andover, Massachusetts, had a retaining wall that was leaning in their backyard. Our production team installed Geolocks on the retaining wall to pull the wall back straight.

This homeowner in Andover, Massachusetts, had noticed cracks forming in the wall of their foundation. The cracks had gotten more significant over time due to settlement and had started to leak water. The homeowners decided to call EFS for a free inspection and to help determine the best solution.  After the inspection was completed by our Design Specialist, we recommended installing 8 Push Piers and FlexiSpan around the front left corner of the home to stabilize the foundation and seal the cracks that were allowing water into the basement. The piers were the ideal permanent solution, ensuring no further settlement would occur.
