The homeowner wanted to lower this number as much as they can. Design Specialist Paul Magowan came to the home to talk to the homeowners about their options. They settled on installing a radon mitigation system into the home to lower the radon levels. Scott Crandall and his team installed the radon mitigation system into the home and lowered the radon levels to a comfortable level.

This homeowner in Londonderry, New Hampshire has been living in their home since it was built in 1992. They recently started noticing an air quality change in their basement and decided to administer a radon test. The radon results came back high. Their neighbors one day knocked on the door to tell them that they had installed a radon mitigation system in their home because they had higher than recommended radon levels. The homeowner decided to get their home tested after their neighbors stopped by. The levels in their home tested at 5.8 pCi/L so they decided to call EFS for a free inspection. Our Design Specialist recommended and designed a radon mitigation system to install in their home. 

Our installation team installed a radon mitigation system into the home and lowered the radon levels from 5.8 pCi/L to below 4.0 pCi/L.
