This basement located in Jersey City, NJ flooded after a terrible storm. The bottom 3 feet of the drywall had to be completely removed due to water damage. The homeowner needed to waterproof the basement to ensure this would never happen again. They decided to call Quality 1st Basement Systems to get an inspection done by one of our System Design Specialist, Will Harris. Thanks to Will and our Production team, this basement is now protected against future flooding with our  WaterGuard French Drain and SuperSump Pump System.

Drainage matting was installed on the floor of the crawl space to give the water a channel underneath the crawl space liner. The matting has raised dimples to make sure the water does not get trapped and directs the water to the perimeter drain.
