To address moisture concerns and improve comfort in their crawl space, this homeowner from Havertown, PA chose a simple yet effective waterproofing and insulation solution. SilverGlo insulation was installed along the crawl space walls to provide moisture-resistant insulation and help improve energy efficiency. The space was then sealed with CleanSpace, creating a durable vapor barrier that blocks moisture and outside air. Together, these upgrades helped create a cleaner, drier crawl space while improving comfort and protecting the home from long-term moisture issues.

The Quality 1st Basement Systems team fitted a CleanSpace Encapsulation System under Wayne's home and set him up with a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier. Our Sedona is designed to provide uncompromised indoor air quality while controlling humidity. The Sedona can move up to 100 pints of water each day, thus drying the crawl space. This makes the damp odor and feeling, go away!

In this dark, unfinished basement in Holmes, PA, the owners were getting water in through the wall when it would rain, and were in need of encapsulating the space. We installed our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier around the walls of the foundation to capture any and all moisture seeping in. We then dug a trench through the foundation floor to install our WaterGuard sub-floor drain system that will safely flow the captured water down into the sump system. By installing this system, the basement will be safe from intruding water and no longer be damp from moisture.
