The foundation walls in this Bridgewater, NJ home were bowing and beginning to crack. The homeowner knew that something had to be done to stabilize the walls, so they contacted Quality 1st Basements. System Design Specialist, Ken P. went to inspect the home and suggested that the homeowner have Carbon Armor installed. The CarbonArmor System is the perfect solution for bowing and cracked walls. The material used to create the product is the same technology that the Army Corps Engineers developed to reinforce bomb shelter, skyscrapers & bridges. The flexible carbon fabric straps are up to 10x stronger than steel. The installation is quick and requires no excavation. A huge benefit of having CarbonArmor installed rather than steel beams is its compact nature. They can easily be painted over and won't impact basement finishing. 

Our TripleSafe Sump Pump System has multiple features that don't compare to any other sump pumps. First, there are three pumps that sit inside a protected liner to prevent damage or clogging. Secondly, the lid is airtight to prevent water vapor from evaporating back into the basement. Third, a back-up battery to continue to function properly if the power goes out.  Lastly, it also has a built in floor drain and alarm system.

A Bridgewater Resident was in need of a new sump pump system as the old one died a long time ago. This was an issue as the water from heavy rain kept flooding the basement. Quality 1st Basements sent out system design specialist, Greg Louis, to inspect the area. Greg highly recommended having a triple safe sump pump system installed along with the waterguard french drain system.

This Bridgewater, New Jersey Resident hired Quality 1st and the team to provide them with a solution for the failing sump pump system in their basement. We removed the old system that had not been maintenance in years and replaced it with our SuperSump Pump system. Our system has an airtight lid to keep water from evaporating back into the basement air. It also keeps the pump safe below preventing anything from getting inside and causing damage. 

Jay Hugee, System Design Specialist for Quality 1st Basements, found that this customer had a problem with moisture beneath the insulation sitting between the floor joists. Trapped moisture on organic material (such as the wood) leads to mold growth and decay. To remedy this problem for the customer, foreman Luis Aguirre and his crew removed the insulation and sprayed Mold-X 2-part Botanical cleaner on the floor joists and left the insulation out so the air could dry out the moisture in an area where mold growth has potential.
