With help from Senior Design Specialist, Ken Peare and Foundation Foreman, Jonathan Neira, Quality 1st Basements was able to stabilize this failing and unstable foundation with our Helical Pier Foundation System. 

Each Pier has a plate welded to the shaft which helps to pull the pier into the soil during installation and provides anchoring strength as the weight of the foundation is transferred to the pier. Helical Pier installation is fast, yet effective. Not only does it stabilize the foundation permanently but can help lift the settled foundation back towards its original position. 

To eliminate musty odors and cold floors, this homeowner contacted Quality 1st Basements  to encapsulate their crawl space. Our Senior Design Specialist, Jeff N., headed out to inspect the site and our team led by Wilver completed the installation. 

We installed SmartJack Stabilizers to provide additional support to the floor joist and crawl space beams to prevent sagging floors and structural issues in the future. Our team also installed our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier System to prevent moisture and water from seeping through the foundation wall.  

A homeowner in Bridgewater, NJ, was experiencing horizontal cracks all over the wall. Moisture and frost, interact with the soil around the home and then cause the soil to expand. That expansion results in constant inward force on the foundation wall until it can no longer support the pressure, causing cracking, bowing, and tipping.

Senior Foundation Foreman, Jonathan Neira, arrived at the job site and started to sand down the area where the Carbon Armor strips were going to be placed. Team members then saturated the Carbon Armor Straps with epoxy resin and placed it on the affected area. The strap is 10 times stronger than steel therefore gave this homeowner a piece of mind.

The foundation walls in this Bridgewater, NJ home were bowing and beginning to crack. The homeowner knew that something had to be done to stabilize the walls, so they contacted Quality 1st Basements. System Design Specialist, Ken P. went to inspect the home and suggested that the homeowner have Carbon Armor installed. The CarbonArmor System is the perfect solution for bowing and cracked walls. The material used to create the product is the same technology that the Army Corps Engineers developed to reinforce bomb shelter, skyscrapers & bridges. Our TripleSafe Sump Pump System has multiple features that don't compare to any other sump pumps. First, there are three pumps that sit inside a protected liner to prevent damage or clogging. Secondly, the lid is airtight to prevent water vapor from evaporating back into the basement. Third, a back-up battery to continue to function properly if the power goes out.  Lastly, it also has a built in floor drain and alarm system.
