This homeowner in Newark, New Jersey knew it was time to schedule their annual maintenance appointment with Quality 1st Basement Systems. Each year, our service team will go to their home and clean their sump pump thoroughly. Our team will disassemble the sump pump, clean it with a hose and vacuum, and then reassemble it to ensure there are no malfunctions. Taking care of your sump pump is important because it prolongs the lifespan of the system!

Notice the photo before, we encountered a damp, dirt floored crawl space infamous for encouraging mold growth and damp conditions in a Newark, NJ home. We revisited a past customer in Newark, DE who now needed help with their backyard patio. The slab had dropped 5–6 inches over time, making it difficult to use. Using PolyLevel and NexusPro, we lifted, leveled, and sealed the patio to protect it from further damage. The homeowner can now enjoy their outdoor space safely.

Newark Homeowner experienced a basement flood, so he contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems to discuss options on waterproofing his basement.  A System Design Specialist immediately noticed the lack of sump pump and had our installation team install a battery backup (in case of power outages!) SuperSump which will keep this basement water and worry free!

This basement had water seepage coming through the walls and up from the floor. We recommended a full perimeter Waterproofing System known as WaterGuard and our TripleSafe Sump to collect any water seepage and direct it out of the basement and away from the home. CleanSpace Vapor Barrier was installed against the lower part of the wall to prevent mold growth.
