A Toms River, NJ homeowner contacted Quality 1st Basements because of the moisture and water in their crawl space. Upon inspection, our System Design Specialist found a lot of moisture and mildew creating a nasty and unhealthy environment inside the crawl space. 

Foreman Juan Garcia and his crew fully encapsulated the crawl space with CleanSpace Vapor Barrier to seal it off from water and moisture that could cause harm to the crawl space and the foundation of the home. To prevent cold air from entering the home, the crew installed a Heat Barrier, SilverGlo. This was installed on the floors to keep the heat inside the crawl space to prevent frozen pipes and cold floors.

This homeowner was tired of having high utility bills, cold floors, and a musty odor throughout their home. Our team led by Juan Garcia installed our CleanSpace Vapor Barior, SilverGlo Insulation & Sealed the vents to keep outside air from getting in. The Crawl Space no longer gives off a musty smell and the homeowner has noticed a significant decrease in their utility bills. 

System Design Specialist, Phil Matthews, met with a homeowner in Toms River, NJ about concerns they had in their basement when noticing water marks and efflorescence on the walls. From time to time they noticed the basement walls would get damp and a little water seepage would form  on the floor. They wanted to protect their basement and prevent water and mold growth in their basement.

Not only does it create a clean and bright appearance in the basement but directs all water seepage straight down to the WaterGuard French Drain System which then flows into the Sump Pump.
