This homeowner reached out to us after finding humidity had caused the insulation to get saturated and mold began to grow. After discussing with the homeowner, Jon designed a encapsulation system that dramatically reduced the humidity and provided a dehumidifying filtration system that prevented mold and reduced odors.

This homeowner was having difficulty with their basement’s humidity. There are many fixes and improvements that can be done to alleviate this issue; the products that our Design Specialist determined best for this job in particular were a SaniDry Sedona and an EverLast window. Focusing on the EverLast window, this product is a perfect upgrade, providing great insulation to keep water out and heat in—all while being maintenance-free, so no sanding, reglazing, or repainting is needed. The installation process for this job involved taking careful measurements of the opening because each window is custom-made for the specific spot. Once that is complete and the window has arrived, our installation team carefully removed the old, rotting window and cleaned up any leftover debris. Then, the new EverLast is put in and sealed up perfectly to not allow anything in or out! Humidity is now a thing of the past with the help of an EverLast window!

Our EverLast basement windows are energy efficient and look great! The frames are made of an inorganic vinyl to replace your old rotting or rusting basement windows. They are easily removed to be maintenanced or cleaned and never need to be painted.

Homeowners in Clifton Park, NY had a wet basement. The moisture was causing black mold to grow, making it unsafe to breathe and ruining belongings that were in storage. Adirondack Basement Systems came in to install a complete waterproofing system to create a clean and safe usable space. Our TripleSafe Sump System was installed with a WaterGuard perimeter drainage system. A SaniDry CX dehumidifier was installed as well to keep the air dry and free of mold particulates.
