A homeowner in Queensbury, NY had bowing walls in their basement. Along with bowing walls, there was a horizontal crack that ran across the length of one of the walls. Concerned about the structural integrity of their home, they contacted Adirondack Basement Systems for a free structural estimate. We sent our Structural Specialist, Jon Roz to the home to do a thorough inspection of the foundation. After taking necessary measurements and assessing the damage to the walls, Jon decided the best solution would be our PowerBrace System. This system is designed to stabilize failing basement walls and provide the potential to straighten walls over time. With no outside excavation required, PowerBraces are an ideal solution.
