Barb’s basement in Macedon, NY, was having issues with humidity and water buildup. She wanted to address the root cause of the mold after another company had removed it. Our Team began by removing the old insulation from the walls. It was severely damaged due to water buildup from the humidity in the space. To replace the old insulation, we installed Foamax® Basement Wall Insulation. Naturally, basement walls are cooler and can create condensation in the summer, which can lead to water in the basement. Installing insulation made of the right materials will help to create a warmer and drier environment in the space. The outside of the Foamax is a white foil that not only brightens up the space but also creates a vapor barrier to help with humidity control in the basement. After the work was finished, Barb was very impressed with our entire Team, especially the crew that put in all the hard effort transforming this basement!

Yvette was struggling with water coming through the basement walls of her East Aurora, NY home. We installed the CleanSpace Wall System on all of her basement walls to help direct any moisture coming through directly down to a WaterGuard perimeter drainage system. The WaterGuard will work to collect that moisture directed down from the CleanSpace to then flow down to the sump pump in the basement.
