This partially finished basement was at risk of water damage with a faulty sump pump. A new sump pump system and dehumidifier from Frank's Basement Systems will ensure everything in the basement stays dry all the time.

Rainstorms could turn this part of David's basement, where there's a crack in the foundation wall, into a mini splash pad. But thanks to the Team here at Frank’s Basement Systems, David’s basement in his Collins, NY, home stays dry! The Team repaired the crack in the foundation by first using a Xypex Patch’n Plug system to plug and seal the crack so no more water can come through. After that, we installed BrightWall® Basement Wall Panels over the repaired cracks because if any moisture seeps through that crack or the surrounding wall, the BrightWall will direct all that water to the perimeter drainage system. Beneath the new BrightWall panel, we also added a strip of WaterGuard® Basement Drainage System, which is designed to capture water flowing down from the BrightWall and direct it to the home's existing perimeter drainage system. Now, when it rains, David won’t have to worry about what’s happening in his basement, thanks to our Team at Frank’s Basement Systems.

Our crew installed WaterGuard® drainage system all around the perimeter of the basement. It works to capture water through small holes in the system, which then flows to the sump pump. With the newly installed WaterGuard, the sump pump will be dealing with an increased volume of water, so a new sump pump needs to be installed to help handle this. A SuperSump® Premier Sump Pump System with an UltraSump™ Battery Backup Sump Pump System was the finishing piece to Tim’s basement work. The SuperSump offers a reliable, high-volume capacity system with built-in alarms to alert the homeowner if the water level rises too high. The UltraSump was also added in case Tim’s house lost power during a rainstorm or his SuperSump ever stopped working. Now, Tim’s basement will be dry and protected for years to come!
