The coldest room in this 1880's built home had sloping floors. By insulating the walls and encapsulating the crawlspace, the outside air is now blocked from coming in. Using our SmartJack system we stabilized the floors. The SmartJack system is made up of glavanized steel beams and jacks. The jacks are capable of supporting up to 50,000 pounds each and are strong enough to be used to adjust and lift the floors back up.  

In Utica, NY, the homeowner faced a serious problem with a bowing wall, which, left unchecked, could have led to further damage. Notice in the before photo how the wall is unsupported. We expertly installed the PowerBrace system, ensuring the permanent safety of the foundation wall. In addition, we encapsulated the walls with CleanSpace, transforming it from a moisture-prone area into a dry, protected environment as seen in the after photo. This home in Clayville, NY had a couple of cinderblock columns that had shifted and failed causing the floors inside the home to be uneven and sloping. The door always wasn't operating correctly. Woodford Brothers lifted everything back into place and installed some 6x6 posts with a base below frost and Y-Bracing. 

Kathleen has a 100 year old farmhouse in Remsen, NY. Her floors were uneven for years and seemed to be getting worse. Cracks started showing up in the drywall, windows were not closing properly and she could feel it every time she walked through her kitchen.

He performed a thorough inspection, then developed a proposal for Kathleen. Kathleen decided to fix the problem for good so Bobby set her up with an installation date with our crew foreman, Jay.
