In this Lewisville, NC home, the homeowners were experiencing major standing water and poor surface drainage in the front yard. To solve this, our crew installed a surface drain and a buried discharge line to give water a dedicated path away from the home. After excavating the problem area, we positioned a durable catch basin at the low point and tied it into a PVC drainage line that directs runoff away from the foundation. Once the system was secured, everything was carefully backfilled, leveled, and prepped so it can naturally blend back into the homeowner’s yard. This new drainage system will help prevent pooling, protect the foundation, and keep the lawn healthier year-round.
