The family living in this home loved their pool, and were disgruntled that the slabs surrounding the pool were sinking into the soil, causing the slabs to crack. We injected PolyLevel foam under the slabs to raise the slabs back to an even level. We then sealed the cracks using NexusPro sealant, ensuring pool and rain water won't be able to enter between the concrete cracks. A family that contains young children and older grandparents shouldn't have to worry about them tripping over uneven concrete slabs around their pool.
Soil was washing out from underneath parts of this driveway due to its situation on the hillside. We injected PolyLevel foam under the concrete slabs to raise them and keep them there. We also sealed the slab joints with NexusPro sealant, which is highly weatherproof.
In Monroe, OH, this homeowner’s front sidewalk had settled unevenly over time, creating a tripping hazard on the walkway leading up to the porch. Concrete surrounding a pool is often susceptible to cracking for many reasons. For one, the soil under the concrete can go through exaggerated changes in moisture content due to the proximity to a large body of water. Also, the weight of the water in the pool can be quick to expose faulty engineering and installation from the team who installed the concrete slabs. Either way, we can fix your concrete relatively easily through a process called slab jacking. Similar to mud jacking, where mud is injected into the slabs in order to get them stable and level, we instead use a foam polyurethane mix. This mix is lighter, cleaner, and less invasive than the mud mix. In one day, we were able to lift, level, stabilize, and seal this concrete, which will help extend this concretes lifetime exponentially.
The soil underneath this concrete driveway in Englewood, OH, was washing away, causing settling to occur to the slabs. We carefully lifted the sinking slabs with our PolyLevel foam to level the driveway out. After we leveled it out, we then sealed the control joints with our NexusPro sealant to provide a cosmetic boost, and a safety blanket against further washout. The homeowners were very pleased with how quickly and minimally invasive our process was, as well as the look of the overall transformation.
