The walls in this basement were starting to show signs of cracking. Foundation wall cracks are generally caused by the natural shrinkage of concrete as it cures, foundation settlement, and expansive soils. Our crew installed CarbonArmor straps to stabilize the foundation of this home. 

We installed helical piers in this home in Nelsonville. Helical piers are mechanically advanced into the soil using small construction or hand equipment. As they are installed to appropriate depths and capacities, they prevent any future settlement issues. After the pier is installed the earth around it is replaced.

In this Gratiot, OH basement, a foundation wall was bowing inward—putting the structure at risk. With six static beams now firmly installed, the wall is stabilized and the home is back on solid ground.
