Concrete around the perimeter of the foundation walls is dug up to place WaterGuard, and a separate part is dug out to place sump pit. WaterGuard will catch any water that is pumped from the sump pump or that the Cleanspace Liner catches from the walls.
After:
Waterproofing system is installed, CleanSpace liner catches moisture from the wall while Sump Pump pumps water from the beneath the basement floor, both drain into the WaterGuard and from there it flows down a pipe that leads outside the home
