Crawl Space Smells Foul - Dayton, OR

This crawl space had a foul odor that was drafting up through the homes heating and cooling vents. They scheduled their free inspection and in the end moved forward with a full encapsulation to ensure their home stays dry all of the time.

Musty Crawl Space needs Repair - Hood River, OR

This homes crawl space was dusty and messy, the walls had efflorescence on them. Unable to go under the home on their own, the homeowners called up John's Waterproofing to address this space properly. They wanted to ensure it would be protected long term, so they wouldn't need to worry about water issues, so they had a full encapsulation installed.

CleanSpace Encapsulation in Boring, OR

Standing water from a small spring that ran thru this crawlspace was causing quite the problem. What vapor barrier that was in place was pushed off to the side and mud was getting everywhere. We installed our CleanSpace Encapsulation system with a Super Sump pump that will pump water from the spring out to the new piping we laid to a safe spot far from the house. The homeowner now doesn't have to worry about standing water again in his crawlspace.

Pests Entering Crawlspace in Boring, OR

One of the many things we do is crawlspace entrances. This entrance before was hard to get into and wasn't sealed properly and allowed for pests and air into the crawlspace. We use an airtight vent cover that stops air flow so the crawlspace can be dry and healthy. It will never rot or rust because it can not be damaged by moisture. The homeowner loved how nice it looked after being done and was glad that it will be a lot easier to get in and out of the crawlspace as needed.

Crawlspace off the Basement has a flooded DIY Sump

This small crawlspace is the side of this home that is built into a hillside. It had a lot of drainage issues and the homeowners had tried to do a DIY Sump Pump to waterproof, however, this ended up clogged with mud and the plastic sheets they had put over the dirt floor were cased with mud. To take control over the water, they called Johns for a full encapsulation; perforated pipes along the interior perimeter, Dimpled Drainage matting, TerraBlock insulation, SuperSump, UltraSump back up, SmartJacks for stability, CleanSpace, a SaniDry Sedona, Spray Foam, new vent covers, and an EverLast Doorway.
