To better control ambient humidity and help maintain a drier environment, a SaniDry Sedona® dehumidifier was also added. SilverGlo® insulation panels complete the installation by helping to limit heat loss and improve basement insulation. Finally, the PowerBrace® system was installed to reinforce the curved foundation wall and help limit further movement. What are the characteristics of an efficient interior drainage system?

- It is designed not to clog and to be positioned on the top of the soil.

- It has a 3/8 inch built-in space between the floor and the wall, to drain infiltrations from the wall.

-It does not depend on a filter cloth.

- It has a large drain outlet for the pump

Thus, this system is connected to an airtight sump pump whose cover and lid serve as drains that allow the water to be evacuated and prevent the vapors from disengaging and humidifying the air.
