Gloria B. just moved into her home in Columbia, SC and is excited to finally be a homeowner. She had always wanted to own instead of rent. Of course, now that she owns a home she is finding out just how difficult it can be sometimes. Repairs and improvements have to be made to keep a home in good shape. Gloria started to notice in the last few weeks that her floor was becoming bouncy out of nowhere. She did not have any experience with crawl spaces so she needed a trusted company to find out what was going on. She remembered her sister had work done on her foundation a few years ago so she asked about the company. Her sister told her to call Cantey Foundation Specialists, they did a wonderful job raising her home. Gloria called in and was scheduled for an appointment with System Design Specialist John Adams. After his inspection, John sat down with Gloria to tell her that she had excessive moisture in her crawl space. This was causing the floor to become bouncy and would cause other problems if not handled properly. John told Gloria that the solution that she needed to protect her home was the CleanSpace system. The CleanSpace system would begin with drainage matting being placed on the floor of the crawl space. Then a thick liner of CleanSpace material would be installed on the floor, walls, and piers of the crawl space for an all-around barrier. The barrier would then be sealed with spray foam adhesive that solidifies the bond between the CleanSpace system and the crawl space. Production Team Leader Israel Santana, Production Team Member Jonathan Lowder, and Production Team Member Matthew Kelley came out and successfully installed the CleanSpace system. Gloria loves her new CleanSpace and the peace of mind that her home is protected from moisture damage.

Geneva of Columbia, SC, knew her crawl space was exposed to the dirt and vulnerable to moisture, especially with all the summer heat and humidity. When your crawl space is exposed and moisture is able to enter, the wood can start to rot and the humidity levels provide an environment for mold and dust mites to thrive. Cantey's CleanSpace encapsulates the crawl space to protect it from this environment and a dehumidifier with a drainage system helps to keep the moisture out and the energy bills lower. This also ensures the space is clean and free of mold, dust mites and critters. 

Customer John S. had drainage issues in his partial crawl space, which led to flooding problems in his partial basement.  Cantey Foundation Specialist's System Design Specialist John Adams advised that the solution to the customer's problem is drain tile and a Sump Pump system.  

John M. just moved to Columbia, SC and bought a beautiful home for his family. Getting ready to move in meant that John wanted everything to be just right before his family arrived. He appreciated that this new home had such a large basement and he wanted to utilize that space. Unfortunately, there was moisture in the basement that was going to prevent him from using it as storage. Luckily, John's realtor told him about Cantey Foundation Specialists and gave him the number to call. John called in and scheduled an appointment with System Design Specialist Jamie Beresford. Jamie arrived and did a thorough inspection of the basement, finding that Cantey's CleanSpace system could give John the storage space he wanted. Jamie explained to John that the CleanSpace system would consist of a thick liner being installed on the floor, walls, and piers of the basement. It would then be secured with a spray foam adhesive. John would have a complete barrier between the basement and his home that would keep the area dry, perfect for storage. John scheduled an installation day and Production Crew Leader Jonathan Lowder, Production Crew Member Matthew Kelley, and Production Crew Member David Herbert came out to successfully install the system. John now has his family all moved in and they have plenty of space for storage thanks to the CleanSpace system.

Dan W. called Cantey Foundation Specialists because he wanted help keeping the moisture and water out of his crawl space.  After his free estimate, System Design Specialist James David explained to Dan that the best way to keep moisture out of his crawl space is to install a SmartSump system and vapor barrier.  With these two products working together, Dan did not have to worry about any water issues, which could create bigger problems in the future such as mold and wood rot.  Thanks to our Production Crew led by Trey Dukes, customer Dan W. no longer has to worry about his crawl space, and he can sleep peacefully at night knowing that Cantey found the correct solution to his problems!
