Brant P. bought his home in Columbia, SC about five years ago and one of the major selling points for him was the basement that this home had. He loved that he would have an additional storage area for his growing family. During the floods of 2015 in Columbia, SC his basement was flooded. Since then the pump that was supposed to be helping keep water out of the basement has stopped working. Therefore, Brant was not able to use his basement for storage because of the excess water. He finally decided he needed a solution to be able to use his basement again. Brant searched the web to find someone that installed basement pumps. System Design Specialist Jason Hugg did his inspection and told Brant that Cantey had a patented SmartPump that would meet his needs. This pump would be installed in replace of his current pump and remove water from collecting in the basement. Production Team Leader Aubrey McJunkin, Production Team Member Francisco Lopez, and Production Team Member Oscar Mota came out and effectively installed the SmartPump. Brant is now utilizing his basement for the storage he needed.

Brant appreciated Specialist Jason's honesty and believed that Cantey was the right company to do the job. Production Team Leader Aubrey McJunkin, Production Team Member Francisco Lopez, and Production Team Member Oscar Mota came out and successfully install the French drain system. Brant is happy with his choice of Cantey to give him the best solution and is no longer worried about water causing problems around his home.

Dallas R. is a homeowner in Lugoff, SC who has taken pride in his home for 42 years. Unfortunately, Dallas has allergies that started to become worse when he was in his home. He started to notice a musty smell in his closet a while ago and began to wonder if that was the cause of his allergies worsening. Dallas decided that he needed to protect not only his home but his health as well. He gave Cantey Foundation Specialists a call after hearing some testimonials from different people in the community about the work they do. System Design Specialist Jamie Beresford came out and took a look at Dallas' crawl space where he found a rotting beam in the center of the home. He suggested to Dallas that this beam be replaced with the help of one of Cantey's crews. Production Team Leader Israel Santana, Production Team Member Jonathan Lowder, and Production Team Member Austin Boan came out and successfully removed the rotting beam and replaced it with a brand new beam. Dallas is now feeling much better in his home, thanks to the work that Cantey did to protect not only the home but the homeowner. 

Larry S. has been a homeowner in Lugoff, SC for some time but has finally decided it is time to move to be closer to his children. He has enjoyed this home however, his family is more important than ever with his first grandchild on the way. To get his home ready to sell he had to have it inspected to check for any fixes he needed to make. The inspection of the crawl space found termite damage that needed to be replaced before putting the home on the market. The inspector suggested that Larry call Cantey Foundation Specialists because they did excellent woodworking. Larry called in and set an appointment with System Design Specialist Richard Early. Richard went through the crawl space and found the damaged areas of wood. Richard assured Larry that Cantey could replace the damaged wood in his crawl space with no problem. Production Team Leader Matt Garcia, Production Team Member Nick Riddick, and Production Team Member David Herbert came out and successfully replaced the wood. Larry now has his home on the market and is sure that the repair Cantey did will add value to his home.

Homeowners Eddie and Lisa F. of Cattageville, SC have recently started to notice visible sagging in the floor of one room in their home. Eddie consulted the help of another company to fix the floor; however, he was not satisfied with their service. Complaining to his neighbor about not being able to find the right people to help, they suggested Cantey Foundation Specialists. Eddie gave Cantey a call, and Specialist Grayson Forehand came out to do a free inspection. After conducting a proper inspection, Specialist Grayson explained to Eddie that he needed his floor joist replaced because they were too rotten to create a structurally sound floor. Specialist Grayson also suggested that Eddie plan to install CleanSpace after the wood work was complete to prevent any further moisture damage to his floors. Production Team Leader Matt Garcia, Production Team Member David Herbert, and Production Team Member Nick Riddick came out to Eddie's home and successfully removed the rotten wood and replaced that with a new floor joist. Eddie and Lisa are now enjoying the new floor in their home and have plans to work again with Cantey to get CleanSpace installed.
