Sandy B. bought her home in Charleston, SC a few years ago. Her home is over a hundred years old and one of the reasons she wanted to buy it was to give it the love it needed. The previous owner had not taken care of this beautiful home so Sandy set out to do some home improvements to restore this home to its former glory. Recently, a city water pipe burst causing damage to the crawl space she had already repaired with the SmartJack system. The water caused the wood to begin to decay and Sandy worried about what further damage it could cause her home. She had previously had Cantey Foundation Specialists install the SmartJack system to her home and as she already trusted the work they did she decided to call again. System Design Specialist Grayson Forehand came out and did an inspection on Sandy's crawl space. He concluded that one of the major beams would need to be replaced but it would be a simple job to complete. Production Team Leader Matt Garcia, Production Team Member Nick Riddick, and Production Team Member David Herbert arrived at Sandy's home and successfully replaced the beam. Sandy now has peace of mind that the foundation of her beautiful home is safe.

Settling foundation around the front porch of this home in Irmo, SC caused the porch to separate from the home, which in turn created cracks in the bricks as the weight of the front porch was sinking away. Helical piers were installed to raise the weight of the porch and lift it back toward its original position. Helical piers are great for stabilizing lighter structures, such as porches, decks and stoops. 

As summer approached, William knew he had to do something about the cracked and unlevel concrete around his pool at his home in Summerville, SC. We were able to lift the uneven concrete and also fill and seal the cracks. Now he can sit by the pool all summer long and enjoy his safe, level concrete. 

Ruth had just had her pool put in a few short years ago and recently noticed the concrete deck had started to crack and raise. She knew she wanted to enjoy her summer days sitting in the sun by her pool but she was worried the concrete would eventually compromise the condition of the pool and liner. Cantey came out and repaired her broken concrete and sealed it with our NexusPro Solution so that Ruth wouldn't have to worry about it cracking again in the future. Troy and his wife noticed stairstep cracks in their brick home in Grovetown, GA, and wanted to address the foundation issues as they knew this could impact the value of their home. In extreme weather conditions, the soil around the home can shrink and expand which puts pressure on the home -- causing these cracks. They do not get better with time!
