Gene and Melissa R. are homeowners in Liberty, SC and have been for a while. They currently plan to stay in their home as they still have two teenagers at home. Having two young boys is not easy as homeowners that want to take care of their home. Gene and Melissa have had to do many repairs to their home due to their rough and tumble boys. When the bathroom door would not shut, Gene and Melissa imagined it was just more damage that their children had caused. They had someone come out and look at it that told them that the problem was actually foundation related because the floor was sagging. While watching the news, they saw an advertisement for Cantey Foundation Specialists and decided to give them a call for a free inspection. System Design Specialist Ryan Holloway arrived for the appointment and did an inspection of the crawl space and problem area. Ryan found that Gene and Melissa just needed some extra support which Cantey's patented SmartJack system could provide. The SmartJack system installation would start with soil being removed at the sites for the SmartJacks. These holes would then be filled with tightly compact crushed stone that would be the solid ground for the footing. The SmartJack would be specifically cut for their crawl space and attached to the footing as well as the beam above. Once the SmartJack is secure, it is then adjusted to create lift and stabilization for the floor above. Gene and Melissa felt like this would be a lasting solution and scheduled the installation. Production Team Leader Israel Santana, Production Team Member Jonathan Lowder, and Production Team Member Austin Boan came out and effectively installed the SmartJack system. Gene and Melissa are back to making sure their boys do not tear up the rest of the house but with the peace of mind that their foundation is strong.

Parry M. of Anderson, SC is a previous customer who had his home stabilized with push piers a few years ago, so when he was beginning to have flooding issues in his front yard, he knew exactly who to call.  System Design Specialist Trey Smedley had the perfect solution for Parry: a french drain that pumped the pooling water from the front yard to around the perimeter and away from the house.  Now, Parry no longer has to worry about flooding issues in his front yard, and we are happy to continue providing life-changing experiences for our customers, past and present!

Mandy B. had troubles opening and closing her kitchen windows and doors, and she also noticed some suspicious cracks appearing around the corners of her doorways.  Knowing that this could be a foundation issue, she Googled the best foundation repair company in her area.  She chose Cantey Foundation Specialists because they not only offered a free estimate, but they also had great customer reviews throughout the internet.  System Design Specialist Nathan Bailey had the solution to her problems: lift and stabilize her kitchen floor through using our patented SmartJack system!  Production Crew led by Jonathan Driggers installed eight SmartJacks and supplemental beam underneath the settling wall.  Now, Mandy can open and close doors with ease, and she knows her home is permanently stabilized!

Katie D. has lived in her Anderson, SC home for quite some time. Being a single woman means that Katie often has to do her own home repair. Luckily her dad taught her a thing or two when she was growing up. Recently, however, there was a problem had come up that Katie simply did not know what to do. She loves sitting on her screened in porch in the evenings but over time she noticed that the floor was unlevel. She had no idea who to call or trust with this kind of repair. One night while watching the news, Katie saw a commercial for Cantey Foundation Specialists. Cantey looked to be a company she could count on so she called in to schedule an appointment. System Design Specialist Nathan Bailey arrived for the inspection and checked out the crawl space. Nathan found that Katie's porch did not have the support it needed. The temporary piers that had been installed could not do the job. Nathan suggested Cantey's SmartJack system to Katie. He explained that the system would start with holes that would be filled with engineered gravel. This would be a solid base that would not sink over time like soil. Then a metal plate would be installed on top of the gravel and a metal beam would be installed over the existing wooden beams. A SmartJack would then be secured to the top beam and the bottom plate. Once the SmartJack is level, it is then adjusted to create the lift that the floor above needs. After seeing the pictures of what was holding up her floor, Katie knew she needed something that could permanently give her peace of mind. Production Crew Leader Israel Santana, Production Crew Member Nick Rish, and Production Crew Member Stephen Halsall came out and effectively installed the SmartJack system. Katie is now back to enjoying her screened in porch in the evenings now that her floor is perfectly level and supported.

We take pride in all of our work, but when we get to see stabilization and the cracks disappear, we take extra pride in that.
