Chuck H. is a homeowner in Roebuck, SC who noticed that his house was starting to settle. Dianne S. moved into her home in Roebuck, SC many years ago with her husband. A year ago, her husband passed away and she was left to take up the responsibility of taking care of the home. The floors had been unlevel for quite a while and since Dianne was getting older, she knew they needed to be fixed. When Laurence finished up, he sat down with Dianne to explain Cantey's process to fix sagging floors. The SmartJack system would begin with a steel beam being installed for extra support. Then a hole would be dug under the beam and filled with engineer designed gravel. Then a bottom plate would be placed on top of the gravel to hold the SmartJack. The SmartJack would also be attached to the steel beam above. When the jack is level, the crew then tightens the jack to create lift and stabilization. Dianne felt comfortable with Specialist Laurence and the fact that he explained the process to her. She believed that Cantey was the right company to help her achieve her goal of fixing her floors. Michael, in Spartanburg, realized that his sagging floors were getting worse and worse. These structural footings would then be attached to a steel beam that would be attached to the home and run the length of the crawl space. This would create solid foundation support for the floors of this home. Mary agreed that this was the right plan for her home and her family.
