Mike B. just moved into a beautiful home in Columbia, SC with his wife and two young girls. He always dreamed of being able to have a big home for his family and could finally make that a reality. Of course, he wanted to take the best care of his home so when he felt that the floor was a little bouncy by the front door, he wanted someone to check it out. He saw a commercial for Cantey Foundation Specialists while watching the news one morning and decided to give them a call. System Design Specialist Jamie Beresford came out and did a thorough inspection of the crawl space. He found that under the problem area, there was rotten wood causing the floor to be bouncy. Jamie explained that Cantey could go in an replace the wood within a day. Mike was pleased that this issue could be resolved so quickly and scheduled the installation. Production Crew Leader Estevan Lopez, Production Crew Member Jonathan Whitaker, and Production Crew Member Phillip Sullivan came out and effectively replaced the rotten wood. Mike no longer has to worry about the state of his family home and can just enjoy spending time with his family in his dream home.

Ryan R. of Columbia, SC called Cantey Foundation Specialists because of the damage caused by the October flood.  It washed away a lot of soil from underneath Ryan R.'s home, exposing the corner of his home's foundation and underneath part of his deck.  Cantey had the solution for Ryan's problem!

We installed Helical Piers and also used PolyLEVEL to restore his home back to it's original state.

Vince S. of Columbia, SC called Cantey Foundation Specialists because he noticed some wood rot and mold issues in his crawl space.  Knowing that these issues will only worsen over time, he hired Cantey after his free estimate. Cantey replaced 17 rim joists and replaced subfloor in a bathroom and fireplace.

Richard N. is a homeowner in Columbia, SC and loves the area he lives in. He bought the home so his children could be close to their schools. When Richard bought the home not that long ago there were not many improvements he had to make. Recently though his living room floor began to worry him. It is the place where his kids often play and watch television. The floor began to slope making Richard feel like his family was not safe in their living room. One night while watching the evening news he saw a commercial for Cantey Foundation Specialists. The next day he called in and scheduled a free, no obligation inspection just to see what was going on. System Design Specialist Jamie Beresford came out and did an inspection and found that a beam was beginning to fail underneath the living room. Specialist Jamie told Richard that the solution he needed to protect his family and his home was Cantey's patented SmartJack system. The SmartJack system would be installed underneath the failing beam to give it lift and stabilize the floor above. A section of the soil would be removed and filled with tightly compacted stone. A footing would then be placed on top of this and connected with a galvanized steel column that would be leveled to fit perfectly under the wooden beam. The steel column would then be connected to the wooden beam and the column could be adjusted to create lift. Production Team Leader Trey Dukes, Production Team Member Estevan Lopez, and Production Team Member Brooks Walker came out to Richard's home and effectively installed the SmartJack system. Richard is now no longer worried about his kids playing in the living room and is thankful to Cantey for the best, lasting solution.

Recently Cantey Foundation Specialists responded to a homeowner in State Park, SC concerned with sagging floors in their kitchen. The System Design Specialists performed a thorough, FREE, inspection and developed a permanent solution that would restore the floor to a level position using Smart Jacks and replacing a supplemental beam. The work was done in March 2023 and the homeowner could not be more pleased.
