Jerry's home in Columbia, SC, was having some foundation problems, including sagging floors, cracks in his concrete and issues with piers. We installed SmartJacks under his home to lift and level the floors which will stabilize his home and help level the floors and walls. 

John W. is a homeowner in Columbia, SC who needed some foundation repair. John first discovered that his wooden support beams were not in the best shape when he went under his crawl space a few years ago. However, he decided that it wasn't a big issue and ignored it. A few years later, his floors began to sag and he could notice a difference in stability whenever he would walk. He decided then that he needed help, so he called Cantey Foundation Specialists. Specialist John Adams came out to John's house and explained to him that over the years termites and rot damage had caused his support beams to deteriorate. He recommended that we replace the old wood and install sister joist for further support. Team Leader Sixto, Team Member Jose, and Team Member Mariano made efficient work of the installation. John was so happy now that his floors had been raised and he could once again enjoy the peace of his home.

James had added on a Florida room to his home in Columbia, SC, a few years ago. Recently the windows and doors had starting to sag and separate from the frame, causing the windows to stick and not open. The new soil under the added room had begun to settle causing the foundation to move and the room to become unstable. The SmartJacks were placed under the floors, lifting them up and stabilizing the room.

Richard W. has lived in his Columbia, SC since he was married long ago. His wife passed away a few years ago and ever since he has continuously been making improvements to his home in the hopes to leave it to his children one day. Richard was always a handyman and often does most of the fixing himself, however, when it comes to his crawl space he just cannot get into it. He knew that his kitchen floor was sloping and probably needed better stabilization. On the way to the grocery store, he heard a radio commercial for Cantey Foundation Specialists. He called in and was scheduled for an appointment with System Design Specialist Jason Hugg. When Jason arrived, he began his inspection and found that the best solution for Richard would be Cantey's SmartJack system. The installation would start by removing sections of soil where the tightly compacted crushed stone would fill to create a stable base for the footing to be placed on top. A steel beam that would be specifically cut to fit Richard's crawl space would then be placed on top of the footing and attached to the top of the crawl space. These steel beams or SmartJacks could then be adjusted to lift the kitchen floor to its proper position. Production Team Leader Trey Dukes, Production Team Member Estevan Lopez, and Production Team Member Brooks Walker came out and successfully installed the SmartJack system. Richard is pleased that he finally found a company that he could trust to get the job done right the first time.
