Marjorie D. of Columbia, SC was bothered by the cracks that appeared throughout the interior of her house.  Above her dining room doorway, a massive crack spread across the sheetrock that Marjorie tried to patch and paint numerous times without avail.  After researching online, she realized that the issue was a foundation problem, so she had a family friend install a crawl space jack from Lowe's.  However, within a few month, the issues came crawling back.  Giving up on the DIY, Marjorie called Cantey Foundation Specialists to have a professional look at the problem.  System Design Specialist James Davis performed a full home inspection for free and diagnosed the problem. He recommended installing three Smart Jacks underneath the dining room floor to lift and stabilize the interior part of the house.  He also recommended installing three Push Piers on the front right side of the house to close exterior cracks he found during the inspection. James had added on a Florida room to his home in Columbia, SC, a few years ago.
