Rita M. of Georgetown decided it was time to clean up her dirty crawlspace, so she called Cantey Foundation Specialists.  With insulation falling from the ceiling, water damage and mold on the wood beams, and critters scattering throughout the area, Cantey was able to turn this undesirable scene into a clean, dry, and comfortable space.  

The Watts have a slab foundation that was sinking on one side of their house, causing the slab to crack on the other side. This made all their furniture and appliances start to offset from their walls. As a home owner, this can leave you some anxiety and a feeling of uncomfortableness in your own home. Grayson did a thorough inspection and found that the SmartJack system would be the right solution for this home. He explained to Linda and Gary that the process of installation would begin with soil removal at the sites for the SmartJacks. Tightly compact crushed stone is then put into this space to create a more stable foundation that will not wash out. A footing is placed on top of the stone, where a SmartJack would be installed and attached to the beam above. Once the SmartJack is secure, it can be adjusted to create lift and stabilization. Linda and Gary felt that this system would protect their home and provide peace of mind. Production Team Leader Israel Santana, Production Team Member Jonathan Lowder, and Production Team Member Austin Boan came out and successfully installed the SmartJack system.
