To mitigate these issues, first, we treated the mold, and then we encapsulated the crawl space. This project included installing Drainage matting, covering the crawl space in CleanSpace liner, installing a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier, and sealing the crawl space vents and any other air leaks with SilverGlo panels and spray foam insulation. 

Moisture, mold and pooling water are problems in this crawl space, which hasn’t been properly sealed. This customer in Cherokee, AL had issues with foundational sinking on their home. When the soils underneath your foundation fail to support the weight of your home, the foundation will begin to settle unevenly, and cracks will appear. As vertical cracks form and the wall or corner of the house begins to rotate, you will typically see cracks that are wider at the top or bottom. To stop the sinking and lift the structure back up, we installed 5 Helical Piers around the foundation where the issues were located.
