Wen H. of Horn Lake, MS just bought a house with plans to fix it up and move in. He noticed that his front porch was uneven. Upon inspection, it was discovered that improper gutter and downspout drainage was causing soil erosion. This had caused his porch to begin to settle into the voids left by the erosion. We design a permanent solution that involved new downspout extensions to divert rainwater away from the foundation. We also used our PolyLevel™ concrete injection system to lift and level the porch back into its original position, and fill the voids left under the porch.

Restoring a Damaged Patio Before Major Backyard Upgrades
Steven M. of Memphis, TN, wanted to transform his backyard into a more inviting space by adding a gazebo for family gatherings and to boost his property value. However, his back patio had become uneven and severely cracked, making it unsafe and unappealing for entertaining guests. Although his driveway was beyond repair at this time, Steven prioritized the patio restoration first, aiming to create a solid foundation for future outdoor improvements.
Precision Concrete Repair with PolyLevel® and NexusPro®
Our team performed a 2-Part Concrete Protection System (CPS) to address the patio’s structural and aesthetic issues. Using PolyLevel®, we lifted and leveled the entire patio surface, correcting years of settling and eliminating dangerous tripping hazards. Once stabilized, we applied NexusPro® joint sealant to fill and protect the large cracks that had divided the slab into four sections. The result was a smooth, even surface ready to support Steven’s future gazebo plans—without the cost of full replacement.
Long-Term Durability and Customer Satisfaction
This project highlights the importance of using innovative concrete repair technology instead of traditional replacement methods. PolyLevel® ensures long-lasting stabilization by addressing the soil beneath the slab, while NexusPro® seals and shields the surface against future damage from water and temperature changes. Steven was thrilled with the outcome and plans to explore additional home improvement options, such as foundation repair and crawl space encapsulation, once his budget allows.

Trip Hazard from Tree Root Heave Threatened Safety and Property Liability
Pat B. of Memphis, TN faced a growing safety concern as her sidewalk became increasingly uneven due to tree root heave. The once-level concrete slabs had shifted into a hazardous ledge, creating a serious trip risk for pedestrians and raising concerns about potential injuries and liability. While the problem worsened over time, the homeowner was clear about one priority—preserving the mature tree that caused the issue. Traditional repair methods risked damaging the root system, making it critical to find a solution that balanced safety, aesthetics, and environmental preservation.
PolyLevel™ Foam Injection and Slab Jacking Restored a Smooth, Safe Walkway
To address the uneven concrete sidewalk without harming the tree, our team implemented a precision concrete leveling strategy using slab jacking and PolyLevel™ foam injection. We drilled small, targeted holes into each affected slab and used slab jacks to realign the most displaced sections. Then, high-density PolyLevel™ foam was injected beneath the remaining slabs to lift and stabilize them, creating a gradual, uniform slope instead of a dangerous ledge. The repair extended across approximately eight slabs, from the discolored section to the property line. To complete the project, we filled drill holes with crack repair material and sealed all joints and cracks using NexusPro™ joint sealant, ensuring long-term durability and protection against water intrusion.
Advanced Concrete Leveling Methods Protected Tree Roots and Improved Long-Term Performance
This repair method was essential because it provided a non-invasive solution that avoided cutting or removing tree roots while still eliminating the trip hazard. By using lightweight, expanding PolyLevel™ foam instead of traditional mudjacking or full slab replacement, we minimized soil disruption and preserved the integrity of the surrounding landscape. The addition of NexusPro™ sealant further enhanced the longevity of the repair by preventing moisture infiltration, which can lead to future slab movement. This approach not only improved the homeowner’s quality of life and peace of mind but also delivered a safer, more visually appealing sidewalk without sacrificing the health of the tree.

Settled Driveway Slabs Created Uneven Concrete Joints in Memphis, TN
A homeowner in Memphis, TN, contacted Redeemers Group because two concrete slabs in the driveway had settled and created uneven joints. The main goal of the repair was to lift the affected driveway slabs approximately 2 to 3 inches so the joints could be brought back closer to level. Uneven driveway concrete is more than a cosmetic issue because settled slabs can create trip hazards, allow water to collect near the joints, and continue shifting if the underlying soil is not properly addressed.
PolyLevel Foam Was Used to Lift and Stabilize the Driveway Slabs
To repair the settled driveway slabs, the crew installed PolyLevel foam beneath the concrete to raise and stabilize the affected areas. Slab jacks and a saw were also used during the repair process to help bring the driveway sections back into alignment. The team was able to get the majority of the slab back level, although one corner piece could not be fully lifted into place. All injection holes were filled with crackfill, and the visible cracks and joints were sealed with NexusPro for a cleaner, more durable finish.
NexusPro Joint Sealant Helped Protect the Concrete Repair
This Memphis driveway repair was important because concrete leveling works best when the slab is lifted and the joints are sealed to help protect the repair. PolyLevel foam helped fill voids beneath the settled concrete and provided support under the driveway slabs, while NexusPro helped seal the joints and cracks against water intrusion. Sealing those openings mattered because water can wash out soil beneath the concrete, contribute to future settlement, and shorten the life of the repair.
