This customer called Olympic Restoration Systems wanting to get an assessment and quote to fix their damp and humid crawlspace. They were inquiring about possible crawlspace waterproofing. The customer stated that after they bought the house recently, they found out that there was a swimming pool buried underneath their deck in the back yard. They had a foundation expert come out and do an inspection. They were informed by the foundation expert that their foundation seemed to be ok, but they were concerned about them having some erosion around the foundation and they needed to do something to correct that situation soon. They live in a gated community. In order for us to gain access to the property for an assessment and to provide them with a quote, we would have to follow the community requirements to be allowed into the community.

When Olympic Restoration Systems was contacted for an assessment of their crawl space, we scheduled an appointment with one of our Specialists for the homeowners right away. We visited the property and proposed a quote to the customer, for a crawl space encapsulation and removal of all the debris from their crawl space. They proceeded with Olympic Restoration Systems to install a vapor barrier and removal of the debris, in the crawl space of their home.

This homeowner called upon referral from other homeowners in his area that had a crawl space remediation from Olympic Restoration Systems. He was having issues with cold hardwood floors, energy inefficiency, and insect infestations coming from his crawl space. We sent one of our System Designs Specialists, Ross, to the home for a free inspection and estimate. Ross found that the current insulation in the crawl space was falling and that there were moisture issues in the crawl space attracting insects. Ross proposed a full crawl space encapsulation system, which included drainage matting, moisture barrier, sump pump, and dehumidifier. This system also involved closing off all outside air into the crawl space, which would help with the cold floors and insect issues. The homeowner accepted the proposal and proceeded with the work from Olympic Restoration Systems. After completion of the crawl space remediation, the homeowner was so pleased that he left a 5-star review on our website.

This customer had very high humidity in their crawlspace. It had become so bad that there was condensation building up and dripping. They were concerned with the dampness of their crawl space and the issues that the humidity could present in the future. 

We came in and removed old, sagging insulation and regreded the crawl space. We then installed a condensate pump, drainage matting, EZ Flow drainage system, a sump pump, a dehumidifier and Clean Space Lining. The home owner can now enjoy a clean, healthy crawl space for many years to come!

This homeowner called aftr he had a crawl space encapsulation completed 14 years ago by another company. After a big rain, he went in the crawl space and found a 20 x 20 foot pool of rainwater and mud on top of the crawl space liner. When he called the company who installed the system, they told him to call Olympic Restoration Systems. We sent one of our System Designs Specialists, Ross, to the property for a free crawl space repair estimate. Ross performed a free crawl space inspection, and presented a quote to the customer. The homeowner accepted and we sent our Production Team to begin the work.

We started by removing any debris in the crawl space, and then applied Mold-X to any exposed wood for mold cleaning. We then removed any part of the existing liner that was damaged, and installed a Smart Sump sump pump. We then installed a EZ Flow Pipe to direct water towards the sump pump, and replaced and retaped any liner that was removed. Finally, we installed two SaniDry Sedona dehumidifiers.
